A Fruitful Experienceby ~TheButcheress

My entry for Jules' & Manda's Incredible Vexel Contest #2. The challenge this month was to have headphones, fruit and a specific colour theme. I had so many different directions I wanted to go, unfortunately the praying mantis dancing on banana peppers didn't make the final cut. I wanted to create that feeling of listening to the right tunes that get your creative juices flowing. I had Pink Floyd and Ohgr in my headphones while I was working. Done entirely in illustrator, but I think it's a vexel because of the raster textures I added.

I used some textures from Bittbox.com, wrinkled paper and cardboard. Headphones are the ones I'm listening to right now.. hooray!!
