I wish I could make more time for art - but life has been very busy.

Very good and very busy

I am about to hit my 7 year dAnniversary. What a great seven years it has been! I have gone through different styles, and mediums, and also switched from a hobby artists to making a living with graphic design. In the past seven years I have participated in many contests, events, exchanges, challenges, made tons of deviant friends and have been inspired by so many wonderful artists. In that time I have gone from single to common law married to single again, to living on someone's couch to having a beautiful home, from stoner to straight edge and back again, from depressed and suicidal, to giddy and joyful, landing somewhere in between. Art has always been there through it all.

Here's to another 7 artful years, deviantART. Thank you to all my wonderful deviant friends.

So.... I got my first Daily Deviation, thanks to two very awesome deviants DomiSM and MonaParvin. One of these days I am going to purchase a premium membership and give them a super big feature. It was really nice to get all that attention and new watchers I would like to thank everybody individually, but there is simply not enough time to return every well wisher.

I am working on my second round entry for the theEpics Battle... this round, Dessert. I am pretty close to being finished.. my opponent (peroro) is a kick ass artist, so I'm a little nervous! Wish me luck

Woohoo! Is anyone else entered in theEpics Championship?

I am working on my first round entry right now... unfortunately I have had a crazy week so my entry isn't going to be as kick-ass as I had hoped. I am actually home on my lunch break trying to vector up a storm, and eat at the same time.

There is nothing like a good challenge to get the creative juices flowing.

So far this has been a great year for me, with things like a new awesome job and reconnecting with friends.

I'm trying to put art back in focus, new art should start rolling in pretty soon.
